Astrakhan State Medical University is a higher medical institution in the city of Astrakhan, it was founded in 1918, is a higher medical institution in the city of Astrakhan, as the Medical Faculty of Astrakhan University. In 1922, all faculties of the university, except medical, were abolished, and the university was transformed into a medical institute.

The applicant should be a graduate with biology, physics, chemistry and mathematics as main subjects with minimum 55% of mark.
